About Us
The Honor Guard Foundation is an organization that was formed by law enforcement officers and their families from across the United States with a love for both the law enforcement community and for motorcycles. Brought together by the idea that even on a day as tragic and terrible as the day someone has to lay a loved one to rest that it should be remembered and commemorated, they formed the foundation with the desire and skills to document first responder funerals through videos, photographs, and writing. Having served on motors units and honor guard units, the Honor Guard Foundation has developed skills and unique methods to document through photography and videography the day we lay our brothers and sisters to rest, creating videos to spread the stories and legacies of our fallen to ensure that we take care of their families.
Mission
They say everyone dies twice: Once when they take their last breath, and once again when their name is spoken for the last time.
The Honor Guard Foundation seeks to never forget the services and sacrifices made by our brave first responders. We utilize our abilities as motormen and bikers and with our cameras to document the day we lay our brothers and sisters to rest, to show the rest of the world a unique view of how the first responder community comes together that very few are privileged to see. Our photographs and videos are taken and used to create visuals for their stories, to keep their memory alive so that they never die or fade from the hearts of their loved ones.
Vision
As fellow law enforcement officers, we take special care in the stories of our brothers and sisters who serve their communities in our lines of work. We believe that every story is special and deserves to be preserved. We seek to film and document the day we lay our heroes to rest and use our creativity and artistic abilities to create videos and media that tells their stories to the world so that they may never be forgotten, so that their stories can help inspire others to do better, and bring together the first responder community by taking care of the families of our fallen. With your generous donations, we seek to expand our reach across the first responder community around the country and help as many families as we can as they navigate life beyond the tragic loss of their loved ones.
